Klairs Mochi BB Cushion
Todays review will be on a BB cushion by Klairs, the Mochi BB Cushion!
This is a cute little cushion that comes in a round white package with a little face on the outside. Inside you have a mirror that is a little smaller than what is in most cushions, but still big enough to work with.
The included puff has a little face on top. A unique feature of this cushion is the closure between the puff and the actual product - instead of simply popping up, you have to twist it to unlock. I think this is a really cool feature to combat against the product drying out.
The product inside only comes in one shade - an apricot shade that is intended to compliment "all skin tones" as so it advertises. However, if you are very fair or tan/darker I do not see this cushion working for you. I normally wear no. 21 in korean foundations, and this is a little darker than that but works well with my skin tone.
Scent wise, it has a very light almost herbal scent but it does not linger once applied. Without primer, I find this lasts a good 4-6 hours depending on what I'm doing. With primer, I can pull close to 8. I haven't been setting this with powder, as I am happy with the finish it gives alone. It is less dewy than most Korean cushions, sort of a satin type finish.
There is no refill available right now, but I think they intend to make one. You can pop the product out to take a refill, so that's a good sign that a refill is coming.
A note on this cushion, apparently there are three ways to prepare it to customize to your desired finish. I have been using it simply as it came. Taken from Wishtrend:
My final thoughts: I love this cushion for daily wear when I don't want to appear too made up but want a little bit of coverage. I definitely plan to purchase the refill whenever those become available. I have had this product for about a month and I still love it and it's still going strong.
